Langa Air Employees Win Outstanding
Achievement Awards
Date: February 27,2003
Two
local aviation technicians have joined a select few to be the recipient
of the Federal Aviation Administration’s Outstanding Achievement
Award. Mr. Joseph Hall an aircraft maintenance technician
and Mr. William Bumgardner an Avionics
Technician have been selected by the FAA to receive the award for
2002-2003.
Hall
has been employed by Langa Air, Inc. at St. Louis Regional Airport for the last 3 years. “Joe is always eager and aggressive
in his work,” said Shawn Sayle, the Director
of Maintenance, “He is respected by his peers and is always willing
to go above and beyond what is generally expected.”
Bumgardner has been employed by Langa Air since June of 2000. “Bill is a self motivated individual and quickly
impressed me,” added Sayle. “Good avionics technicians are hard to find.
I am confident that Bill will be a valuable asset to our
organization for years to come.” In addition to his avionics duties, Bumgardner recently received his Certified Flight Instructor
certificate.
“Both
of these guys are great to work with,” said Scott Langa, president.
“They deserve this recognition.
In the 13 years that Langa Air has been in existence, we
currently have the best, most committed individuals on our team.
Joe and Bill have been instrumental in making our business
a success.”
